  • What I Did This Summer Part 2

Continuation of what I did this summer (sorry this entry has been sitting on private half finished forever, more to come shortly)...

    July
Attended the JAMA conference in Philly with Peter. My eyes are all red in this picture b/c it was a particularly touching night and I got the chance to pray over Peter. We had such a good time and got to know some of the folks from Joy much better. We were really blessed at the conference.

Picnic in S. Jersey for the 4th of July. Lonnie, James and Christine really outdid themselves with all the great food.

Peter is trying to get the flame going in this picture, using the box top. It was hilarious to watch. hehe

My coworkers surprised me with this awesome Hello Kitty cake. I seriously almost cried when they sang me Happy Birthday. I forgot it was my birthday and for them to remember it really touched me.

That weekend oppa took me to my favorite cheap eats place in NYC- Pam's Real Thai. I think we eat here at least 4 times a month. I LOVE it soooo much!

Then the following weekend I invited the NE Division of CCF Alumni over for dinner for Marie's Bday.

The week after Abe came into town for a few days, the same week as Summer Restaurant Week. The NE CCF got together again for lunch at Asia de Cuba.

After lunch we shot the most random goodbye video for Josh's goodbye party.

Later that night we met up again and went to the South Street Seaport to see the "waterfalls" in the East River, then we ended up in Chinatown for soup dumplings and Little Italy for mini cannolis.

At the end of the month we moved out of Pal Park, NJ to the city. We went from Korea town to Harlem (or SoHa as some call it). We found a great little prewar 3rd floor walkup (much better than our old 5th floor apt). It had all the details I was hoping for (high ceilings, crown molding, brick exposure, french doors, laundry in basement, close to subway) for a decent price. We ended up getting the apt a week before our lease ended so it proved to be a crazy last week of packing, selling half our belongings (the new apt is half the size of the old apt) and moving across the river to NYC.

    August up next...
