  • December update 2...

The month of December is always fun...for me work is kinda slow but life is busy- full of holiday celebrations, family and friends. Here is my latest peekcha update:

We went home two weekends ago to see the youngest Kang in Winter Park High School's production of "It's a Wonderful Life." Peter played Clarence the angel.

The stage make up is craziness. Up close Peter looked freaky! hehe

The whole weekend was about family- I just wanted to spend time with my folks and brothers at home, making food, talking and catching up and just enjoying each other. My parents are crazy about taking pictures just like me and Suseok oppa. So you can only imagine the number of photos we took.
    Here are a few...

Our family cat Simba. He's a 20 pound beast, but the sweetest, gentlest kitty.

    Family picture time!

One of the outings we did was a trip to see the largest cypress tree in the US. I lived in Florida practically my whole life but had no idea about this tree. It was pretty cool and the day was so nice...

    Piling into the mini van

I love seeing my parents hold hands

You can't really tell from the picture but this tree was enormous. It was taller but the top part fell off at one point. But still it was HUGE!

I spotted a very strange looking bug on the wood railing. It looked like a furry caterpillar w/horns and a tail. Any one know what it is?

    Jesse and my folks...

    Me and the hubs...

The family...minus Peter, he was at school.

Then we decided to get a lil creative with the pics...

    Tada!

The weather the whole trip was so nice. It was nice to be in shorts and sandals for a few days.

Then it was time to go...

Ever since I was young I always wanted to cut my brother's hair. I used to ask him all the time but he always said no. Since he wanted to buzz it all off he said I could do it! It was fun giving him a mullet and then mohawk. The hubs finished it up at the end.

I miss the folks...hopefully they will come and visit us in Jersey when it gets warm.

When we got back to Jersey the following weekend we went tubing in the Poconos with Yoon Kyung and Emily from our church small group. Tubing was a lot of fun! It requires no skill and it's a lot cheaper than snowboarding or skiing. hehe

The next day we had our small group Christmas party. We had a potluck and played White Elephant. =) The food was awesome and Suseok and I managed to both end up with movie theater gift cards.

Don't the pastries look awesome?! Our talented small group member, Cathy the pastry chef, made them.

I'm really looking forward to the next two weeks. We have lots of things planned, including a visit from the guy that introduced me to the hubs. =) More picture updates to come.

    Merry Christmas everyone!

Merrrrrrrrrry Christmas, Suseok and Eugenia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^^

  • wow, so many festive photos, capturing that holiday spirit ^^ have a wonder christmas!!

  • many catepillers that turn into moths are hairy
even though i don't know how to spell catapillers
doesn't mean i haven't seen many hairy, horned, tailed ones =)

catepillers with horns you should avoid.  There's a really poisonous one down south called a saddleback. It has a weird horn on it's butt that will sting you.  i think they are green though.

    wish you guys the best,

    don
