  • The little things, snow and visitors...

This little planner, presented to me in such a sweet and unsuspecting way has made me so happy...

...the kind of happy that lingers and makes you giggle and feel all warm inside

*sigh* you really know how to sweep a girl off her feet ;)

Look who the snow blew in??

Justin, Joe and Diana are here with us right now. They got to experience a small Noreaster. Hopefully, they won't get sick from all this cold.

So the Japanese ramen hunt continued with them. We tried Ramen Setegaya, just a few doors down from Momofuku.

Their soup broth agreed with me much more than Momofuku's. Their sides were very delish too. Setegaya is smaller than Momo but just as packed. However, the booneegi was more my style.

When we have visitors it guarantees lots of eating out. This week we've been pigging out on Korean bbang, icecream and gelato and lots of other goodies.  Last night Marie and Kyu came up and had dinner with us at our fav jjajjangmyun place in the 'hood.

    This pic is "LEFTHANDERS UNITE!!!"
yay! 1:1 ratio of righties and lefties (Suseok had a dinner mtg and couldn't come)

It's been a busy but fun week. I'm really looking forward to going home to Orlando this week- land of Mickey and warm weather.  The youngest Kang has a starring role in his school's production of "It's a Wonderful Life." So we're off to support him and have an early holiday gathering. Next entry shall be another peekcha obaload. hehe

  • Hey Eugenia, seemed like you had a fun thanksgiving.  I was in CT, but I was too heavy to roam freely to visit people.  Glad you had a nice time.  Ramen Setegaya...I'll keep that place in mind.  You wouldn't happen to have a good authentic Ramen recipe?  - Suelynn
