  • halitosis

I know everyone gets bad breath, especially me with my love for garlic, onions and kimchee. However, this morning on the bus this guy sits next to me and I swear he almost knocked me out with all his coughing, sighing and phone conversations - anytime I got a whiff of his toxic breath I cringed. I seriously turned toward the window and got as physically far away from the guy as possible and then plugged my nose and breathed through my mouth. To make things worse this morning the traffic was horrendous, so my normal 30 min commute was over an hour!!

I tried to be as discreet as possible about my bad breath defensive tactics but now that I think about it maybe I shouldn't have been. I didn't want to hurt his feelings but maybe if I had let him known his breath was foul he would have been able to spare the coworkers, friends or other ppl he will encounter today.

Eeessshhh....whatever...I was just so happy to get off the bus.

Everyone have a great halitosis-free day!

  • HAHAHAHA. i would've moved to another seat, or if there weren't any available seats i would've stood. but yes, rank breath is not a good feeling for anyone. can you imagine what his family must go thru every day? aigo...

  • that is a tough situation. what do you do or say? yo, your breath is kickin!

  • i might stand up and go away. so sorry for you.

  • hahaha. i sat near someone with really bad B.O. in church recently. that's pretty harsh, too. honestly, i don't know what's worse b/n the 2.

  • hahahaha dude. that's like this one time i had to take the chinatown bus to philly from ny. i was ready to throw up on the halitosi.

  • unfortunately, I knew this dude where his halitosis case was irreparable. It's a serious problem. thnx for the b-day greeting by the way! : )

  • Aw thanks for the compliments!

I too love garlic, but I don't think my breath is as kickin as the man who you had to sit next to. Dang!!

  • I hear halitosis can be brought on by GI problems?
