  • Summer so far...

    Ok, massive picture update...was working on this last night and fell asleep! keke

    Just got back from The Met at the Park. It was so awesome having a picnic in Central Park watching a live performance of Faust....felt like I was in a movie...but then again the past few months have been like one long movie. Moving up here has been a dream come true for me...sounds cheesy but true. hehe

    Ok, so here's a sampling of pics from the summer thus far...more pics in the albums.

    We decided to make a meal for our parents on Memorial Day. Publix how I missed thee!

     Chef Jesse planned the menu & commanded the kitchen...Course 1: sauted spinach and tomato salad w/mangoes


    Course 2: Crab cakes w/cilantro-avocado sauce Course 3: coconut rice w/pork tenderloin in mushroom- asparagus tip garnish (I think this was the menu, so many things went into the dishes I forget...no pics of dessert)

    After dinner we walked through Hell's Kitchen, one of my favorite neighborhoods in Manhattan. There are so many good, affordable restaurants here and I love all the old walkups mixed in with the background of skyskrapers. For dessert we went to Kyotofu, a Japanese cafe that makes all the desserts out of tofu.

  • hi eugy! just saw your comment now. summer's been good so far. just go back from hawaii last week. i'm peeling like a leper already. hubs and i are good. we got sick of each other on our trip. 11 days with just each other is a lot. we both need our space. hahahaha. he was like "i was sick of you" i'm like "oh yeah well I WAS SICK OF YOU TOO!"
    we're so mature.

  • Wow...those were really good pictures. It looks like you had so much fun. I LOVE the video clip. It's funny b/c on the cold night, Suseok 오빠 is the one all bundled up instead of you. hahaha... so funny. I miss Florida. I will see you guys soon!

    i look so weird sleeping like that.. who sleeps like that?
